Professional Ethics Program

A Talk on Professional Ethics Program for Teachers, Administrators and Office Staff was held on 13th May in The Digital Classroom – Pandu College, organised by Pandu College and West Guwahati College of Education under MOU. The inaugural speech was delivered by Dr. Deep jyoti Barman, Co-ordinator IQAC, Pandu College who stressed upon the need for such programmes for professional development. The resource person for the program Dr.Parijat Chakraborty, Associate Professor, West College of Education was welcomed by Dr. Deepanjali Haloi, Assistant Co-ordinator IQAC, Pandu College with a phulam gamucha. The Resource person started the session highlighting the meaning of Ethics, Code and Professionalism. The various aspects of Professional ethics, including from conceptualization to evaluation, appraisal to education and capacity building of teachers were emphasized. The Professional Ethics, Concepts and Principles were stressed and emphasized on the need for working together between teaching and non teaching staff of the college. The Code of conduct of Teaching staff, Non – teaching staff, Students and Administrators were also marked. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by Assistant Co-ordinator, Pandu College. The Teachers, Administrators and Non teaching staff participated in the program from both the colleges.
