Celebration of World Environment Day 2023:
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June 2023, with a Plantation Drive at the Pandu Kamakhya Road organised by IQAC West Guwahati College of Education and Eco Club, Environment Awareness Club IQAC Pandu College in collaboration with GMC Ward no 7,Pandu Guwahati.
Fire Hazard Awareness Camp Organised by West Guwahati College of Education
A Fire Hazad Awareness Camp was held in West Guwahati College of Education in collaboration with Pandu College under the supervision of Officer in charge of Fire Brigade Service Nabajit Nath who have displayed the awareness about the uses of fire and how to face the hazards successfully.
A Talk On Professional Ethics Program 2023:
A Talk on Professional Ethics Program for Teachers, Administrators and Office Staff was held on 13th May in The Digital Classroom – Pandu College, organised by Pandu College and West Guwahati College of Education under MOU. The inaugural speech was delivered by Dr. Deep jyoti Barman, Co-ordinator IQAC, Pandu College who stressed upon the need for such programmes for professional development.
National Workshop 2023:
West Guwahati College of Education in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education Foundation and organised Three Day National Workshop on “Teacher Preparation for Next Generation learners in School Education” .
Summer Camp for CFG children:
West Guwahati College Of Eduction has organised a fun learning program for 3 days summer camp in collaboration with Child Friendly Guwahati (CFG) , Panbazar,Ghy from 22/03/23 to 24/03/23 at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Goshala, Guwahati.
Following activities are the attractions of the College for the Session 2013-14
- An Inter-College Debate competition on “ENGLISH MEDIUM IS BETTER THAN VERNACULAR MEDIUM” dated 10th March, 2014
- Two days Film Festival in collaboration with Forum for Better Cinema on 14th & 15th March 2014
